I've been on the get a #1 WR train.
The litany of reasons not to are running out...actually have been gone.
---It's a QB driven league...yet it's ok to have a group of #3 WRs...
---We need to draft OL to protect the QB throwing to a group of #3 WRs.
The problem the Rams have is they are not drafting strategically whereby the proper mix of players develop together. They draft units and leave voids elsewhere.
Even drafting a WR in round 1 next year will likely require 2 years of play time before the payoff.
The Rams should upgrade, in part, using free agency. If a top receiver does make it to the market, they need to go for it.
