I do think they are hiding him. No targets.
Yes, yes. He was on the field a number of times. In fact, if you go to the rams highlights and Goff's first ever TD throw...you'll see........
Trips left. Including Williams. A great call by Boras, btw
Overloads, and floods the weak side of the field. Williams is among that trio. Then, Boras set Michael Thomas single set to the wide side. Just and excellent use of clearing up some space.
But, Williams role was superficial; and I think it's by design. I think they are hiding him. But I've already quipped on that.
Quick is not going to be cut. He doesn't just catch the ball. Go back and look at Benny Cunningham's cowboy TD last week. There's Quick making a simple block to keep Benny just clean enough to get to the endzone. That's not a solo moment. He can block; he knows where to be.
Mike Thomas is going to have a tough time finding his way on to the active roster. As noted by our campers, the kid is rail thin.
I'd be a bit more tempted to stick with McRoberts, and I do think that's their drift, as of now. He is getting designed targets. He larger than Thomas. I'm not ignoring Thomas. He's getting on the field. He's getting chances to return the ball on special teams; He's getting in reps.
but if I had to wager? I'd keep 4 tight ends right now, over an extra WR. unless they can play special teams, well.

Duke Williams was impressing the hell out of everyone in Camp and had a TD catch at Family day as well and now he's disappeared.
Mike Thomas has been unimpressive in camp and in the games. I expect him to get cut.
