I have done some very dumb stuff in the work place over the last 40+ years as have a great many people.
Yes I have, and (shockingly) even when told not to, when I was in my 20's and early 30's.
Working in sales we were often told not to drink in hotel bars on stay overs. Nobody took any notice and we got drunk. Sometimes up to 20 of us into the early hours.
Sensible? No of course not. Very dumb in retrospect.
But just blowing off steam after working very, very, hard..
Players are presumably told not to give away penalties, but they still do it.
They are told to run a certain assignment - and they don't do it.
They are told there is a curfew and they ignore it (wasn't that Gurley in SF???)
This Rams team may or may not fail, but it's not because of F bombs (ask the Bears under Ditka and Ryan if they heard many F bombs), or being silly, it's because the actual coaching or talent isn't up to scratch.
Each Hard Knock's has to get harder, otherwise it withers on the vine.
BTW, did the Falcons win the Superbowl when they were so respectfully treated?
And did all of Bobby Knight's teams fail? What about Tommy Lasorda after his rant?
Good luck!
There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.
