Last year it sure seemed to me that Kendricks was targeted more toward the end of the season, and more importantly in crucial situations, and my guess is that it was because of our WR play. Of course, same think will apply to Higbee, if that's the case. - JamesJM

Kendricks has always been a steady, active target. For the last 3 years he always gets around 40 targets. And he gets them because he's a good weapon...IMO it has nothing to do with the receivers either way.

I wasn't painting him as a blocker only. He's not just a blocker.

Remember the key to LK is that he is a run blocker AND a pass blocker AND a receiver. That means there's always a percentage of deception in his game. Ofen you will see him catch a pass with no one near him. That's because in advance teams don't know what he will be doing, and he doesn't even give it away by where he lines up (for example he can line up wide and still wham block on the inside on running plays).

In terms of v. Higbee there is no v. Higbee because they are very different kinds of receivers, on top of everything else that makes them different.
