I haven't done the roster numbers recently but I think they'll keep 9 DL. If Longacre keeps it up he's in and could be an heir to Sims eventually.
I think we'll see more from Easley and between him and Coples he's more likely to stick in my opinion. That kind of interior pass rush ability isn't common. He could really thrive as a rotation guy on passing downs.
If Easley is healthy, I believe there is zero percent chance they get rid of him. You are absolutely correct with your statement that Easley’s interior pass rush ability isn't common.
In fact, according to PFF, Easley was
higher than Donald last year in QB pressure and sack rate. (QB pressure and sack rate is when you calculate the total number of QB pressures & sacks divided by the number of snaps.)
A rotational DT who can be as effective as Donald with 30 snaps per game is extremely valuable and a roster lock. The only question is his health.
I also agree that Fisher keeps more than 8 DL. The DL is the bedrock of the team; he doesn’t usually go thin there.

Just makes too much sense to do otherwise.
