I know, it’s almost unthinkable that Rams would jettison a 2nd rounder after only one year. But it was a year with zero results, literally.
Few teams would admit their draft mistake so rapidly. Are the Rams one of those teams?
My personal opinion is that unless Atwell really impresses in camp his chances of making the 53 are in jeopardy. Roster spots on this loaded roster are very valuable and Rams will find it hard to justify releasing a promising youngster merely to try to save face for another year over a colossal draft mistake.
