Whitworth is done. He should not be in the Rams plans going forward. Havenstein may be the only starter quality O-lineman on the team. Maybe one player (e.g., Edwards) can emerge from among the youngsters. Can the Rams put together a decent line through free agency, trades, and the draft? One advantage of hitting rock bottom is that the Rams must surely have a sense of urgency regarding this glaring weakness. If they focus all of their resources, maybe they can put together a decent O-line next year. I would start right now by taking a close look at every practice squad around the NFL.
