First Carson Palmer can really throw the ball. Tight Spirals, velocity, an aerodynamic ball that spirals and travels. Goff.s balls look like high school throws compared to his. Goff needs to clean up his delivery big time. His motion is sloppy, his balls are wobbly, he has a lot of work to do. HIs first pass looked like a punt. It was embarrasing.
But he is tough. He was getting hit every play. Most of the time by a free rusher. Nobody, not even Brady would succeed with the combination of atrocious line play, unimaginative play designs and receivers who do not separate. He shows some grit. I think the jury is out on him.
Greg Robinson is unbelievably stupid. Most of the game when he was on the sideline he was fooling around with Isaih Battle, a two year practice squad scrub who got kicked off his college team for smoking pot. Greg Laughs, and dances and talks and smiles. He's an idiot. Worse, he thinks he can behave like he does with no recourse. They need to get a coach that rides his ass, or cuts him. But he is an immature idiot.
Hecker may be the best punter who ever lived. He bombed a seventy yarder today that he kicked at his 5, and Patrick Peterson caught at his fifteen. He's unreal.
There is no leadership coaches or otherwise on this team. NO sense of urgency, no sense of care. An entire culture change is needed. They were pathetic today. Blake Countess can play though. He hustles and is tough.
Things got pretty low rent at the coliseum. At the beginning of the season, I was enjoying my seats, but as the Rams failed, the crowd around me got less and less classy. it will be hard for the Rams to win over fans in LA, creating this environment.
