and for that reason, a St.Louis identity. And the change was a done deal as far as league, even. Back then guides had to be printed, the uniform manual, which is given to the media, printers to get colors right. It's why they have the year in advance rule. Cannot just scrap it because more than just the team involved.

As I said, it could have been powder blue and gold--UCLA colors or worse. George finally chose the color because she liked the names --- they sounded astrological. Weird, I know.
