Davante Adams throwing shade on him
For the record not all that pleased with the signing. I get why ... and if he has to play and does well, I will be wrong.

Receiver is out on Netflix. It's good, perfect July football show. But this? This is why I love these sports documentaries. No anonymous source, no third party, jus Davante Adams himself saying he signed off on Jimmy G getting benched and it helped keep him a Raider/wins down the stretch. Those are his words, you can't take it for anything else when it's as blunt as that.
Wasn't just him too. This clip of his wife was in the show:
Now anyone with a brain and a half of an eye could see Jimmy G wasn't the answer. It's a minor miracle the 49ers made the Super Bowl with him, let alone had a chance to win. He's just not a starting quarterback, at least not a reliable one. That's where Davante Adams likely signed off. He wanted to see what else the Raiders had. Give them a chance to win, hard to argue with that logic.
There's obviously no guarantee that Adams stays a Raider. I mean their starting quarterback battle is Minshew and O'Connell. Not exactly the type of quarterbacks you want to hear for a starting QB battle (Drew Lock/Daniel Jones are the names you want to hear).
Again, I love it. I want this sort of @#$%& out there. Stop with the locker room stories and give me guys who are willing to say what happened truthfully. I want the quotes with names attached. I know the source game is what it is, but this a million times better.
