I read that line a few times from different sources and I have to chuckle. It's just a way for somebody to try and justify giving up a 2nd round pick and not have it look as bad! lol

It's still a 2nd rounder no matter they spin it. I am pretty sure they will get to use it in the second round next year...not the 3rd. No matter what they "call" it, we are still out of our 2nd rounder next year.

FWIW, I am ok with the trade but I do think we might have been able to negotiate a better deal...but then again, WTH do I know. I am just a fan posting on an internet message board!
