Because you premised it on the cost being equal. I am just not aware of any situation like you are talking about. As far as those players I think they weighed options and brought back guys they thought would help them win and experience was part of it.
But unless you know someone else they could have brought in for equal money --- I think it's more of a situation you;d have preferred someone else. That's fine but does not mean they were making bad choices. It's just you disagreed with the Rams coaches -- again, that's fine.
