I feel you, I am done with the Troy Reeder experience. Just way to slow and therefore not in good position to make tackles. If Jones goes down for any period, we are screwed. It seems like this staff likes to go back with players that are familiar no matter their talent level or lack there of.
We went back with Malcolm Brown, Darrel Henderson, John Johnson, Troy Reeder. I think at the time there were better options but the Rams went back with what was safe and known. It kinda drives me crazy.
and that's what I was saying. In salary cap era you cannot have stars at every position when you have a top paid QB and top paid DT ... and big contracts for Kupp and others.
Something had to give and that was ILBer position. You have to go with what yo can afford and guys who know the system
If Stafford and Donald would have played for less, then cap issues would have been better ... but that's not how things work. They want every last cent so ... we get LBers line Rozeboom and Reeder.
