Rarely can an udfa come in and complete for a starting spot. More likely he'll have to fight for his professional life just to make roster or practice squad. I was bummed when Jaylan Ford went off the board and Tatum Bethune , Verse and Fiske's teammate, got picked two spots before our last pick.
So, team with just UDFAs at his position he has a shot -- but all he has to beat out Christian Rozeboom, Troy Reeder, Jake Hummel and Olakunle Fatukasi.
if he shows anything --- and the Rams keep 4 ILBers he should not have a huge hill to climb taking out one of them -- only reason he wasn't drafted is because he was on the small side --- but that's ideal for a Jack backer in this system.
He run a 4.6 (not super fast) but benched 30 reps ... great for his size ... and he showed some ball skills
I think he has a shot ... all he lacks is the experience of those guys-Roze, Reeder and Hummell ,,,
