Since the players available in 2024 are perceived
as better that the player to be available in 2025
The Rams will probably do some fishing and see
what teams, at certain selection numbers for certain
players, would be interested in the Rams 1st round
this year and next year.
because that is what it would be ... approx. and that is in a normal year. The DVC is going to be tweaked baced on what you are talking about.
Danger, is of course, missing
in 1981 Rams thought the draft was 8 players deep. They thought one of the top 8 would drop. So, they traded a #2 and #4 to move up to 9..but all 8 guys were gone and Rams got Mel Owens. He was fine, but not a guy worthy of the 9th overall pick.
If Rams move up, they risk not getting their guy and are going to lose premium picks.
To me, I think opposite in a deep class. Move back a few spots andget an extra #2 or #3. A late #2 is worth a lot this year, equal to a late #1 in others drafts or at least a high #2.
I'd drop to 25-29 ish and get the extra pick(s)
