Was told by someone I trust last year that Avila's best position was center and was surprised when he played guard.

He did well at guard ... so it probably doesn't matter, but they wouldn't have said it if he
had problems with snaps any more than any other center coming out --- Humphrey, etc.

A smart guy like him will be able, I think, to handle it. It's a huge upgrade at center
and not a downgrade at guard.

Plus ... if Avila is a 10-12 year guy, could always move back to G when Jackson's contract up
