As it stands they can cut Kupp after this season and get $12.52M in cap relief in 2025.

If they restructure Kupp and convert $12M of his '24 salary to a signing bonus they would clear $8M against the '24 cap and add $4M to his cap hits in both '25 and '26, increasing them to $13.78M and $11.48M respectively.

Then if the Rams cut Kupp after the '24 season (before the Roster Bonus is paid) only the Prorated Signing Bonuses would go against the '25 cap: Kupp's cap hit would be $25.26M instead of $29.78M - a savings of $4.52M.
