1. Do you think T Sweat makes it to the Rams pick in round 2? I actually do. He's such a niche addition to a defense that he can' really be "ranged" to well. He's not Dontari Poe or Haloti Ngata. The Eagles have not gotten great production from the recent Bulldog that was 350 (Davis?) ... so he may be out of vogue ... but his PFF grade was excellent.
2. Do you think B. Fiske makes it to the Rams pick in round 2? No. And I'm bummed about that. I think he's a fit for any scheme, violent, and disruptive. I'm now curious about Kris Jenkins, who I thought would be ahead of him. that seems to be where the line is for pick 50 ... Fiske or Jenkins or both come off the board right before we pick.
3. What round do you have Max Melton in? Solid second ... I think in a year with les depth he'd be pushing round 1.
4. I think I will have Kam Kinchens in round 3? Where do you have him? Yes that's where I have him now. I think Nubin is my only safety with a round 2 grade. I'm glad he ran a 4.56 at his pro day.
5. Jalyx Hunt, 4th or 5th round? I don't see him lasting any longer than that. I get the feeling from looking at mocks that there is someone out there that really likes him ... like the grades on him are all over the map. Traditional wisdom says round 6 ... but someone will Maurice Alexander him in the 4th I think.
6. What are your thoughts on Luke McCaffrey? If the Rams go defense heavy first 2 days, I think he is a good day 3 fit. No? He is and I've actually answered that to a mock where someone went all defense with the first 4 picks. I knew he was an athlete because brothers are brothers, and Im surprised he and Rice are being valued so low ... McCaffrey in the 5th seems like another steal in that round. 3 cone, production, 40 time, hands ... he should be a 3rd rounder ... and only because he played at Rice.
