The one thing that bothers me, and I'm guessing you'll agree, is in a draft class that is rich in a particular position that one would ignore that.
And that's what the front office did last year. Sort of. They didn't cash in until Davis Allen. Tight ends of the 23 class looked exceptional
To me, there's little denial that Kupp's top end performances are mostly behind him, and spending a higher pick at the spot is just smart use of capital.
The club might ignore this, but I'd sure appreciate the move if they went earlier than not to assure they have high octane at the position.
