Purdy and the offense were not as good on 3rd downs, mainly because of Spag's blitz's/Pressures, as they were on other downs and it got worse as the game went on.
IMO, the defense did not lose that game for them. It was Purdy's inability to overcome the 3rd down blitzing/Pressures by Spags and his D. Purdy just couldn't handle it.
Wilkes was the Scapegoat IMO. Shanny should've fired himself. He is a known choker in big games. It's on tape. I saw it. He is a choker!
