Interesting how Shanahan talked about Wilks not being a good fit from a scheme standpoint.
Sort of like McVay asking Morris to run Staley's defense.
Sounded like he was saying that Wilks didn't know how to best utilize Greenlaw and Warner.
I don't know, but they looked like they were flying this year. Greenlaw healthy for a second season and Warner doing their thing.
From a stats perspective, they didn't drop off.
Maybe it was their coverage responsibilities that changed where maybe they are trailing this year more? I thought I saw that more this year vs popping to a spot.
I don't know. I mean Warner is phenomenal in coverage anyway, so who knows.
I thought the DL underachieved with all the firepower they have. And their lack of enthusiasm in the 1st half of the Detroit game was telling.
