It is so easy to take one play and make it look as if a QB is not very good. The thing about Goff is there are people who believe (or for some reason are invested in the idea) that he is not a very good QB and I don't think anything will change their mind. But:

Among all NFL QBs since 2017, Lions QB Jared Goff ranks: 1st in passing yards (28,492); 1st in passing 1st downs (1,397); 1st in 20+ yard completions (397); 2nd in completions (2,473); 6th in passing TDs (176)

Facts are facts and it would seem to me that only a very good QB can have stats like that.
