As a musicin of sorts, I' rather have a master guitarist break down tape of my performnce than do it myself. I might see some things to practice, hear some things I need to improve, but maybe be left where I am with only the self-admonition to keep practicing. The better musician will see more and be able to show me the way forward. My playing will improve more under the master's tutelege.
I think the analogy holds - and, I for one, feel I have more to learn from Warner than from Goff. Goff is both confident and humble enough to learn in this way. His respect for Stafford after the Lions game reveals that about him.
