There is a lot more to it than that the catch was dropped.
Dan Campbell played scared and didn't trust his shaky defense by going for it on both of the 4th downs. (he wet the bed)
Even if the catch was made, it didn't guarantee they would win the game.
McVay would likely not have gone for those 4th downs. (not in his DNA) he's usually conservative in those nervous times of a game and plays it safe.
We all know McVay has has wet the bed in the redzone with his play calling, but I'm glad he's our our HC.
Hoping McVay learned a lot about himself when he's done self scouting during the offseason.
The 49ers won fair and square.
I don't like it but the 49ers stole 2 playoff games (Packers- Lions) that they probably should not have won.
