Allen often plays as if he has to put the whole tem i on his shoulders. He's betrayed by dropped passes, missed blocks, etc.
But look at what he has accomplished when the wheels don't fall off.
Classic mentions that Allen likes to throw the long ball. He's good at it. He'd have to play within the system at SF, but put that ability together with the 49ers wide receivers... IMO Allen would take SF to a higher level - and I'm glad he won't.
Accounting for Deebo, MacC,
and Allen in the run game would give any DC fits.
IMO the 49ers would take a quantum leap forwrard with Allen as their QB - and I'm glad they won't.
Purdy is a surprisngly good young QB - but he's not in Allen's league - yet.
