Being humbled.....

From their debut's I knew... or I should say 'felt'...that Mahomes and Jackson were both a notch 'above'... BUT.... I was far more sure about Mahomes than I was about Jackson. Not my grandsons... who like me saw greatness in both but they felt far more sure about Jackson..... the great debate had begun.

Today there is no more debate..... because my grandsons and I have come to believe there is no winner. Oh sure.... they are different... one may do 'this' better than the other, or 'worse'... but in the end? Both are 'elite'.

My point being... this is a matchup made in heaven. I've wondered, more than a few times, if most avid NFL fans are aware of just what is about to take place. I mean... ALL are aware that it's a big game, huge, and two very good QB's are going up against each other.... But, to me anyway, it's bigger than that.... something that is a rarity in the NFL. This is not just two greats in the game of today but rather two that, somewhat debatably, are the best to have ever played the game. You're in for a good one, Speed.... I think this coming game while obviously a fantastic matchup for this season also transcends this season. Closest analogy that comes to my mind is..... the is a heavyweight bout for the championship of the world. - JamesJM
