I think Allen would have the potential to do very well. But, it seems like he likes the long spectacular throw. The 49ers have had a more controlled, timing-based, passing attack since the days of Bill Walsh. So, maybe Josh Allen could adapt to that.
I think Purdy would do fine in Buffalo's offense, and would probably make it more efficient and less prone to turnovers.
Especially in the playoffs when the stakes are higher and reality shrinks to a dime.
Interesting to see how he would do without an all-world cast of supporting players like McCaffrey, Deebo, Aiyuk, Kittle, Juszczyk and Jennings. Not to mention the best LT in the planet in Trent Williams. Doesn't hurt playing in the Shanahan offense, either.
