I don't think McVay is patient enough to develop rookie QB...

I think he puts too much pressure on them (see Goff) - and gets too frustrated. McVay does much better with vets that have fallen out of favor and need better coaching. imo
Drafting a QB would be fine to sit him for 2-3yrs and groom slowly...but not to start on Day 1.
There will be vets that we can work with after Stafford is a year away. Until then? Draft 2-3 quality OL and watch Stafford have a record year. stafford was the reason we went to the playoffs this year - and he will continue to play if he doesn't get beat up from crap OL play.
Then, draft a WR and TE and RB in later rounds....to go with the high EDGE, CB picks this year.
