I understand the benefits of grooming an heir to the throne at QB however the Rams seem so close to getting another ring and who knows when we will have the likes of Stafford and AD on this roster again after they are gone, I lean more to let's maximize the opportunity now for a title and deal with the future in the future. If an elite talent can get us two more rings in the next three years, it will make the dark times after this run is over and we are in a full rebuild a lot more bearable. A QB in the first this year sure helps us down the line but does nothing to help us get a ring in the next couple of years. It is an opportunity cost situation. Let's say I am Team lets win now but when it's over take our medicine, I don't want to be the Saints who keep kicking the can when their really isn't a realistic chance of them winning it all right now.
