Thanks for sharing. I have been a Rams fan since roughly 1972.
1979 was super exciting. Of course I lived in Iowa, so barely got any coverage and almost never saw a game. But I was a solid, every week fan from the beginning.
The 90's were rough, but 1999 was far and away the best and funnest season to be a Rams fan ever. So exciting. Watching them dominate, but come up short in the next five years was fun as well. Then...
2015 and 2016 were the worst years I had a s fan. I almost gave up. I started missing games, even when they were televised.
Then McVay brought the life back. the first six weeks of 2017 reminded me of 1999. It was fun again.
The 2021 season, aside from the November slide, was everything a fan could want. Ending in our second SB WIN.
But even given that, I think I have enjoyed this regular season more than any season but 1999. Low expectations, young underdogs, Puca coming out of nowhere, Kobie Turner, Kyren Williams. Going toe to toe with the Ravens. And now we're in the playoffs.
The Lions are good and we may not win. But this season has been an unexpected treasure.
