and the topic was the coaching carousel, and Raheem Morris was mentioned as a possible coaching candidate this off season. I immediately thought of Robert Salah as a possible replacement for Raheem if he were to lose the Jets job. I remember when he was with the 49ers, they had a really stout defense under his philosophy, and I think he would be a good candidate. Does anybody have any thoughts on a replacement other than Staley. Ron Rivera also was a defensive coordinator, and we know he will likely be fired after the season.
though Salah could run a defense he's not coached before ... coaches are smart guys. But Salah isn't going anywhere, IMO. they will give him one year with Rodgers.
Rivera, though, will get the axe ... he's also more of a 4-man guy but ... is a smart guy ...
McVay would need to know what he wants to do with the personnel he has.
