Has anyone else ever gone more than 14 years between HC gigs without retiring and coming back? I am not sure. lol
14 years seems like a very long time to not have any team show interest in making him a HC again. That tells me maybe the league knows something we don't about him as a HC or else it would have happened by now.
I give Morris major kudos and credit for what he is doing this year as a DC. I have said it many times this year. It's been very impressive. I am just not sure that is enough for the league to get over whatever it is that has kept him from being a HC again over the last 14 years.
Not knowing what the owners know about him, I do think he deserves another shot. Getting the 2 3rds would be great too. Having said that, I would be ok if he stayed as a Ram DC too.
I really wonder what the owners know about Raheem that keeps them from not wanting to hire him a HC again? I doubt we'll ever know.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
