I've never wanted, (preferrably), to beat a team when they are down a few key players. I want to beat them when they're at full strength. But of course, that said:
A win is a win... injuries and sitting players is part of the game. I don't 'actively' cheer for a team to sit players nor do I actively root for injuries to their key players (not saying anyone here does as far as injuries; sitting players is a different story). As far as 'sitting players' I fully understand people hoping for that.... not a thing wrong with it of course! But that's where my masochism comes out... even when it's all on the line I still would prefer beating Purdy, McCaffrey, etc. - JamesJM
