... failing to suit up a quality QB2 or having a better kicker.
I'm not sure McVay has control of the roster. I hope like hell that his opinion carries some weight but I think the final decision on who to sign rests with the front office (Snead, Pastoors, et al).
I don't know for sure either AlbaNY but my gut tels me McVay has final say on who he wants to be the QB2. After all, the offense is his baby. I also think it was up to McVay to make a decision to get a better QB2 as soon as Bennett went out but he didn't. That was all on McVay.
Abandoning the run is 100% on McVay and that cost us a game too.
Same goes for the inconsistent kickers. If McVay says "hey, FO, this guy has to go and I want Gould or Crosby instead. I think it happens immediately.
Again, I agree, we don't know for sure but I think McVay has the power to get what he wants whenever he wants it. It's up to the FO to make it happen.
IMO, the Rams are 100% McVay's baby and he gets final say on almost everything. He seems too much of a control freak for it not to be that way...and I am ok with that.
Don't get me wrong. I am not bashing McVay or wanting him gone. Just calling it as I see it.
I think the only way McVay gets COY is if we get to the SB. JMHO.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
