I doubt the league sets the market for Guards based on PFF grades.
Let's remember he wasn't going to start at Pitt. They knew him well and there must have been a reason.
He came here in a trade at a price that was reasonable. He didn't win the starting job here for a few games.
Yes he has played well but for what 5 or 6 games? Will the market for him go wild with his history and limited time of being successful?
If there is a market for him at 12mil we got to let him walk IMO. However I doubt the market is going to be that high.
We are just getting out of Cap hell and jumping in a overpaying for a player which results in a bad contract is a killer. Goff, Cooks, Gurley, even Ramsey & Floyd killed our cap and and in the case of Goff cause us to overpay in draft picks for Stafford for Detroit to agree to eat most of Goff's contract.
Still the guy is playing his butt off and the Offensive line is jelling for the first time in a few years.
