I read this Athletic article this morning. IMO, Stafford belongs in the "It's Complicated" category which was defined as:

Special circumstances make these situations less straightforward, creating a wide range of potential outcomes.

Though he can still be productive, Stafford is no where near the QB that started [or ended) the 2021 season for the Rams. Instead, we're now mostly seeing mid-season 2021 Stafford.

Like Russell Wilson, I thunk we're watching a once-great QB's skills erode before our eyes.

And like Seattle, I think it's best to unload Stafford a year or two early than a year too late.

I'm just not sure what team feels as though it's a QB away from getting to the Super Bowl that might part with a 2nd rounder for him. Off the top of my head, I'm thinking Raiders and Steelers.
