Let’s don’t forget that McVay hasn’t been the same caliber HC/play caller for the last 2 years, either. That can’t be overstated.
Rock, I hear your arguments and don’t really disagree with them.
OTOH, I also think that QB is a looming problem that must be dealt with in next 2 years.
So, what better QB draft class will be available to take our chances in such a time frame? If we take a QB now then at least he’ll have a 1-2 year opportunity to prepare for NFL under tutelage of Stafford/ McVay.
But if Rams wait then they’ll have to settle on a QB while probably drafting in the twenties and then have to throw him into the fire immediately.
I still favor biting the bullet and drafting our QB in the 1st this year.
