lol....loyal fans in St Louis? dude, I was back there during the heyday of the GSOT it was great ..... and the Linny days and it was a ghost town.....
I'm curious as to what your definition of "a ghost town" is. I was a season-ticket holder during the Dark Years in St Louis and as bad as the product was on the field, I wouldn't say the Dome was a ghost town. It's true that it was never a sell-out after the GSOT years, but it was ALWAYS at least half full which was pretty good all things considered. Now, the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team and the Miami Marlins, for example... they're lucky to have 8-9,000 fans at a home game and that's when they're winning! To me, that's a ghost town.
yeah, half full and the entire vibe was just dead...the Landing used to be crawling with Rams fans but then we(out of towners) were the only Rams fan around all the sudden.

Like most cities, it is gonna die down in bad times and attenedance will drop, but you can see why Rams moving to LA has negated that aspect....every game is sold out even the last two years when we sucked. There is 20 million people in the surruonding area who will go to see their favorite team when they come to town
