Stafford is playing at a high level and his woes are from an underwhelming OL that doesn't keep defenders from out of Stafford's face. Stafford is LIGHTS out as a passer still!!!! See his start to the season when he wasn't hurt - from lack of an OL. IF a QB is the whole enchilada then protecting him is worth everything. Who thinks that if, given enough time, there is a throw that Stafford cannot make....even now?? It's the OL. imo
Stafford can play for 2-3 more years if we get a better OL and better protection. Stafford is still 35. iirc - and has the heart of a competitir and doesn't want to hang em up yet. Injuries will be the only thing that will force him to do that.
Let's protect Stafford and establish a better running game to help out and we'll be golden.

Stafford is still capable of greatness but he’s now too streaky. His stats speak for themselves. The 2023 version is a pale imitation of the Stafford as recently as 2021.
We never know anymore which Stafford is gonna show up on any given Sunday.
It’s time to start planning for the future, imo. Stafford’s days are numbered. Maybe one more year? Maybe 2?
You put Stafford on an island in your response. He came out great in the beginning, but his level of "streaky" has increased with his rate of pressure. He's currently listed as the most pressured QB in the league, and anyone who has watched the games can see he's been beaten like a drum all season. The hope that merely putting another QB behind center is going to change this dynamic is just that- hope. Bulger, Bradford, and the other pre-Goff QBs suffered behind our poor Oline play. Goff did too, and McVays first move was in protecting him by getting Whitworth. Just calling out the QB and not accounting for the poor Oline play doesn't begin to tell the story.
