Second, the writer predicts a 6-10 record in a 17 game season. Hard to follow his thinking after that. I don't think Stafford is over the hill or injury prone. With better blocking his thumb would be fine. Last season he nearly got killed by the dreadful OL. If he has good protection the guy throws passes few others can execute.
You saw him do it to win us a Super Bowl not long ago. I would love us to get another great player. I don't care what position he plays. I love our receivers, but Marvin Harrison JR would look great in horns. There are a couple of stud LOTs in the draft and you can argue taking one and sticking him new to Avila to make the left side of out OL one of the best. We could definitely use a stud pass rusher.
I still don't get the whole Bennett thing. Rehab? Depression? Something else? Kid won back to back National Championships. Should be our QB of the future.
