Hey Speed, how ya doing, man? My opinion is Goff has improved and is a different player now, and the reason is Ben Johnson, who actually turned down the chance to become a head coach
because he wanted to continue coaching Goff!Check out this article from June

“He’s one of the biggest reasons why I didn’t want to leave,” Johnson saaid of Goff, via The Athletic. “I feel we are tied together to a degree. He’s an extension of me, and I’m an extension of him. I’ve told him multiple times that his success is my success, and vice versa.”
Goff has earned significant autonomy at the line of scrimmage, which is more than Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay allowed.
In one offensive package, Goff is tasked with reading the defense, and has the autonomy to choose one of five different plays.
Ben Johnson has got one of the top offenses in the league, but he chose to stay instead of interviewing for a job as head coach. To me, that's the best definition of elite that I can find! And I think that Goff has improved in making less turnovers and being a tougher, more resilient player. He consistently makes the right play, at the right time. IMHO
