We all get it. You hate Goff as a QB.
And it wasn't all that long ago that you said no way the Lions beat the Chiefs because the difference between Goff and Mahomes was way too much.
How'd that go for ya?
At the end of the day, I think you may have a problem, cause Goff has a long way to go in his career, and the Lions just keep getting better.
We all get it. He doesn't look pretty playing QB. But Goff is a top 10 QB, and can win a SB, in spite of your bashing.
I do wonder if you'll have mixed emotions if he beats the Niners in the playoffs. I hope it's not too tough for you to watch the QB you have total disdain for beat the hated Niners. LOL
W/some folks, old viewpoints NEVER die, no matter how unfounded. I'm not trying to convince Speed. I'm offering some informed opinions, and now some facts, for folks who might be open to them.
Jared Goff 2022 regular season QBR ranking: #5 of 32. He made the Pro Bowl last year.
Jared Goff 2023 regular season QBR ranking: #6 of 32. He'll probably make the Pro Bowl this year.
Jared Goff's current PFF ranking among QBs: #3 of 32. He's on his way to a big, multi-year contract.
Of course, both QBR and PFF ratings try to account for the quality of the team around the QB and the quality of the defenses faced.
Jared Goff has been one of the top-6 QBs in the league for the past 2 seasons. He had very good years in 2017 and 2018 and he's better now.
