Yeah shoulders just worry me with QBs. And just spitballing here waaaayyy too early...
We don't know where we are going to pick but I think McVay plus a weak second half schedule means mid first round. Ish. So I'm guessing 10th-15th range.
I know it's impossible to determine how these guys get racked and stacked post-workouts at this early juncture, and I'm still working through the QBs which is to say making sure I'm judging them on full games, but here's how I see it for now...
Top ten types: McCarthy, Williams, Maye
Second tier types (could slot based on team preference anywhere after those top three into round 2): Daniels (I might take him over Maye), Dart (underrated to my eye), Penix (here due to injuries), Ewers (here due to injuries), Nix (here due to sinful film early on).
I realize the guys I have as that second tier might be a bit oversized as a group but personally I don't see a lot of difference in them, in that there's some question with most of them but all look like they have the tools required to do the job. But I do think Daniels and Dart are a cut above the rest. I really like Dart in his interviews too. I could see either of those guys rising depending on workouts and throwing exhibition fun and games.
