His production and off schedule playmaking ability will trump his drawback which is his size. This guy isn't Young (last year's top pick), he leaps off the film.
But I also don't think he's a slam dunk to be the best QB of this class. He's no Elway in that regard, the guy who just stands out and you know he's going to get there.
I also don't think we have a chance to get Maye, who physically is very gifted and has been on teams' minds for some time now. But this class has a lot of interesting candidates to be better pro QBs than they were collegiate QBs. I'm going through the SEC guys right now and I'll give an example in Dart, who is very much overlooked on big boards given what he's putting on film. Rams are almost surely going to need to take a shot on one of those types in this draft, the guys who don't fall into that top group but who represent a good shot at finding a QBotF.
