as usual we're seeing the same things. There's the 3 non QBs, then I could wait till round 2 basically for non QB.
I'm needing more persuasion with Nix, likely because I've seen him make so many really bad plays and throws over his career, that I haven't been able to erase them yet.
He could easily grow on me, and he's a good leader.
I have the same with McCarthy, his Ohio State game and "likely" playoff games will be critical to show me he can win a game on his own. I think his processing speed has gotten much better.
Drake's best games should be coming up as well, he was breaking in new WRs, and the best talent was not approved for playing until mid october.
My under the radar guy is Ewers. With the injury he has fallen out of mind for most I think. In most years he's a top 10 talent because in most years he's the #2 QB ... not 4 or 5. I like that he's played under Sarkisian as there's a McVay connection there.
I feel like best case scenario we get Alt with our first pick and trade up to the end of round 1 to take Ewers.
Also, just as a note for anyone else reading ... this class is basically all 4.5- low 4.6 guys. The only one who doesn't "really" run is Penix. He can, but he knows he has an injury history and he plays accordingly. He throws a great ball, makes good decisions. Ending up with him would simply mean we need to have a legit O line forever.
Williams, Maye, McCarthy, Ewers, Nix ... all 4.5 guys. Williams has the best moves, but he's unlikely to get to us.
Jayden Daniels is likely a 4.3-4.4 guy. His improvement throwing the ball and reading defenses has me pretty surprised this year.
