Albany- Does the owners cut of 253 mill cover coaches, staff, scouts, and organization salaries? How about equipment, practice facilities, food and medical? Does that also come out of owners cut? Yes, indeed - the owners pay for all of that and then some. Travel & hotels, too, and probably a bunch of stuff we haven't even thought of. And based on what little I know it seems the Rams are willing to spend top dollar on all of these things. (One notable exception is their current practice facility, but that in the process of being replaced.)
I would love to see how much money the Rams clear after all their expenses. No doubt they're a money making operation. But how much money I have no idea.
The Packers are the only publicly owned team and as such they are the only one who's financial data is available. The had an operating profit of $68M in fiscal 2022 and currently have a corporate reserve fund of $474M. [
