My frustration come from this:
As someone else pointed out, we have 6, yes 6 TE's under contract. We have(had) 3 QB's, one of whom has been ruled out for the season.
Knowing that our season hinged on Stafford's health, did we add a QB to the PS when Bennett was listed? No. We rode with Rypien who started the season on the PS. That was the time to add a QB to the PS. Be it Winn, McCoy, Perkins or Roman Gabriel. (Just give him enough protection...)
Instead we get 6 TE's, because the TE position is such an important part of our offense.(??!) The result, Stafford gets hurt and we start throwing darts, getting turned down by fringe players and signing about the bottomest of the barrel QB you can find. At least they could have added a QB who has thrown one pass in a regular season game, there are plenty out there.
I don't expect us to win every game, but I do like to think that we're trying to.
