But even putting that aside, too, my eyeballs are telling me that Jackson has clearly outplayed Boom at LOT, and Dotson has definitely beat Boom out at RG.
Definitely agree about Dotson over Boom at RG. But personally I don't have the scouting skills to determine on my own whether Boom or Jackson is the better LT. I have to rely on those who can do that.

Boom may well be gone in 2024 and no team contemplates that for legit starters.
In 2024 it's a cap hit of $20M if they keep Boom, $15M if they cut him. Is the team contemplating cutting a guy who's floor is backup at 4 positions just to save $5M in cap space? In a year when they have $57.5Mm in cap space? Maybe they are, but I am not privy to those conversations.
Fans, of course, can speculate about that all they want. That doesn't mean the team is considering it.
I thought a cut/trade in 2024 was far more cap friendly than that, AlbaNY. But I stand corrected, I guess. And your point is well taken.
Still, Boom would be a VERY expensive swing T/G in 2024, especially for a guy that spends half the season in the hot tub, and since the Rams showed willingness to eat $70M plus this year it wouldn’t stun me to see them bite that Boom bullet in 2024, especially since they will be awash in newly freed cap dollars then.
We’ll see, but I think it could go either way.
