I thought the same. Although a couple ear hole head slaps on Hurts ala' Deacon Jones might make them think twice about it. Yeah, it's a penalty but they would only gain half the distance near the goal line. But this scrum crap should be as illegal as the helmet slap.

An offsides surge prior to the snap as the center is driven back into the QB would serve a similar purpose. I don't like dirty play but sometimes it can send a message.
