How do you go through OTA, Training Camp and Preseason and have Akers as the starter and then after 1 game decide he needs to be off the team. Why couldn't the figure that out earlier when they would have had a much better opportunity to find a replacement?
If you didn't think Akers was that good certainly we should have been on the hunt for a starter or a solid #2 back. Williams is okay as a backup but is unproven even in that role. And who is behind Williams who was hurt most of last year? I think we are in trouble with Rivers, Evans and Freeman backing him up.
